My guess is that the Packs will be released after the update today, since we're now down to the +2 option. I'm really hoping that I'm right so I don't look silly.

Perhaps they're going for a different tactic this year. Release the packs super late, and have everyone buy more in a mad frenzy before the promo ends? |

Those packs, even the cheapest one are too expensive and I have no intention of throwing real money at them.

That Balios is so beautiful, but then, I guess I'll have to satisfy myself by looking at other breeders Balios, I just can't buy any of the packs, especially not the Ultimate Pack.

To be honest I can't see most of us affording those packs, especially the players who can't yet legally buy their own passes. Perhaps Howrse has gone a bit too far this time? |

I remember they released packs like these last year, although I have no idea how well they sold. As for them being biased towards non-pass buyers...well, yeah of course it is. I know it's frustrating, but Howrse has to generate the money somehow, otherwise we won't have a game to play.

Some of their promos etc., I have found very reasonable, however it is offers like these which really puzzle me. Not sure how many people remember the 'Friesian Uni release' scandal from 2009 but if any of you do, well, I'm sure Howrse has many many ways of generating income aside from these exorbitantly priced packs... |
I joined 3 years after that on the INT server, but I've seen posts about that on older players forums on there, are you talking about when mods said that Owlient made 3m off the friesian uni horses?
