Cards: The Greek Heroes


The Cards event is back, and this time, we will be wandering amongst Greek Heroes!


� How to play?


Collect and scratch cards to win gifts.

There are 3 different types of cards:

Gift cards - will grant you a prize immediately.

Puzzle cards - will grant you a prize once the puzzle is complete.

Joker cards - help you get the card of your choice amongst those from the same level.

If you get a card in double, you can exchange it for a new one of the same rarity.

Complete the 5 puzzles to win a divine horse!


� How to get cards


There are different ways to get cards:

� With a daily connection (2 cards a day), with a bonus if I log in 5 days straight (1 Gold or Diamond card)

� When taking one of my horses for a ride (1 card a day)

� From winning a competition with my horses (1 card a day)

� In the Flash Sales

� By spending Equus to trade my duplicate cards (1x per day)

� With Passes.

Each time you buy a card in the Flash Sales, you get some points. When you have enough points, you unlock a private sale for a Joker card!


� Jackpots


Manticore, one of the dragon horses.

With Manticore, you can fight against other players' dragons to win a prize: 1 x Dragon's Flame

Complete all five puzzles to win it!

� The new divine horse


Seahorse is a new divine horse.

Throughout the contest, you can find fragments of the new divine horse Seahorse in Tyche's Crowns, but also when you activate certain cards and achieve your daily objectives.

Once you collect enough scales, he gets you a Greek Creatures Wanderer’s spirit.

You can increase his skills by using your Passes.

On the mobile version of the game, players now have access to mass actions.

This means they can repair multiple buildings at once or collect all resources from their crops for instance. The only action they cannot perform in mass is the creation of new buildings.

When players go on the mass action page (little wheel on the top right of the screen where you are on your equestrian center page), players:

� Can see all the actions they are able to do on their buildings.
� Can see the number of buildings that will be impacted by mass actions.
� Cannot choose on which buildings the action will be performed.

Players can also now accept or refuse all the boarding extent requests.

Please, test this feature if you are able to do so, and let me know whether you find it useful.

Please note the “Rosette per horse” trophy is being removed because it presented some technical challenges (i.e. trophy calculation changes when a horse with a lot of rosettes was sold).

You don't need to worry about losing your progress. To keep track of the efforts made by the most dedicated players:

� The points obtained from previously validated trophy levels will be kept for the general ranking and for the trophy ranking.

� All points gained from the trophy and added to the gift gauge will be kept.

� The total trophy number shown at the top of the trophies page will be adjusted to reflect the removal of the "Rosettes per horse" trophy.

This change will take effect on January 23rd, so you can still make progress before the trophy is permanently removed.

The Great Challenge and Festivities


The Great Challenge is back, and this time it will be followed by Festivities.

� How to play

As usual, this contest takes place in two parts:

� The Great Challenge phase: Collect horseshoes by completing in-game objectives.

� Festivities (Snow Battle): Collect seed UFO’s and trade them for prizes or get get up in rankings.

� Part 1: The Great Challenge


Every day, you will have the choice between various objectives you can complete over and over during the day. Complete them to get horseshoes and unlock gifts and bonuses (game items, jackpots, fragments etc.).

You can collect up to 100 horseshoes a day (or even 120 if you have bought the Premium Key!)

� Premium Key


Buy the Premium Key with passes to access additional marvelous rewards:

� Marvelous Premium Gifts: Gain access to exclusive gifts and a Tyche Crown

� Extra Horseshoes: Increase your daily horseshoe limit to 120, helping you catch up or get ahead faster.

� Buy the Premium Key early for maximum benefit, but remember, it's never too late!

� The gifts that have been unlocked but not claimed during the Great Challenge part are automatically given when the Festivities starts.



You can buy your Premium Key whenever you want during the Challenge phase.

There are no divine fragments in the daily objectives during this event, as you can complete objectives for the Great Challenge (the fragments will be back in the objectives for the next event).


� Part 2: Festivities - Snow Battle

During the festivities, your task is to catch UFOs in three daily sessions, with the number of UFOs based on your horseshoe collection.

To help you run your Equestrian Centers more efficiently on Mobile, they now feature a new function: you can now perform mass actions, greatly simplifying the management of your facilities.

A small icon is now visible at the top of the buildings page (boxes, meadows, greenhouses and workshops). It leads to a page listing the possible actions you can perform on several buildings at the same time, up to a limit of 500 at a time. This may involve repairing several worn-out stalls, or harvesting finished productions, for example. The number of buildings involved can be seen on the page.

Please note that, if you are producing buildings, you will not be able to retrieve them automatically.

The magic works itself: buildings requiring a specific action are automatically selected. No more time wasted manually selecting each box or greenhouse!

Supernova


Supernova is one of the Star horses.

Every day when waking up, will ask you to embark on a new Space Odyssey.

With a limited number of moves, find where the star is hidden by using the proximity clues:
- Some are located around the star
- Some are located around the very close "squares"
- Some are all the other squares

Collect enough stardust to fill the gauge and get:
- 1 x Nyx Pack

Supernova cannot be sold.

You can increase her skills by using your Passes.

From now on, instead of getting a range of fragments, luck items will only have a predetermined FIXED amount.

Wandering Horses



Welcome to this edition of the Wandering Horses event!

� How to play

This edition includes the 7 community Wandering horses +4 new ones..

Each of the 11 Wandering horses has a specific objective which earns you points on the horses’ gauge: it can be “congratulate a player” for instance.
When you complete the action, you earn a given number of points on the gauge. When you complete the gauge, you unlock the Wandering horse!
There are also gifts on the way to the full gauge.

Moreover, you can use Wandering Horses Aging points (see below) to unlock them immediately. They can be earned daily when you log-in or can be bought with passes.

At some steps of the gauge, you can receive one of the intermediate prizes:

A black market item.

Fragments for the new divine horse Red Giant.

A special coat!


When the gauge is full:
You will receive the final prize linked to the objective. The wandering horse will join your breeding farm until 2 days after the end of the contest.

While the Wandering Horse is in your breeding farm, you can make the same actions as with your normal horses:

Training

Caring actions.

Competitions.

You cannot reproduce them, nor give them Black Market items. You can age them with the event's item (see the Wandering Horse Aging points below).

You can use these points to age your Wandering Horses or to fill the gauge of your Wandering Horses faster.

They can be obtained:

On login (3 per day, with some extra ageing points if you log in every day)

With some luck when the Wandering Horses you are taking care of wake up

It is a Community Wandering horse representing the Howrse worldwide community. Includes +11 in all attributes. He can appear in player’s breeding farms!

� New divine horse


A new divine horse from the Stellar series: Red Giant!

Throughout the contest, you can find fragments of Red Giant in the Tyche's Crown. You can also find some fragments in the prizes of some Wandering Horses.

Complete her mini game to get a Champion’s Seed.
You can increase her skills by using Passes.

The Community Wandering Spirit



The Community Wandering Spirit gathers all 11 coats from this event edition.

It enables you to equip the coat of your choice to one of your horses. The next community horses coats will be added to this item.

This means that all existing Community Wandering Horses coats will move inside this wandering spirit collection, instead of the animated coat collection.

It is NOT obtainable in the current event.

Simplified rides on the mobile version


A new option has arrived on mobile: it is now possible to activate simplified 3 hour rides and you will know what energy percentage it will drain.

This feature is available to all account types: no subscription, Pegasus and VIP. You can also activate or deactivate this feature anytime.

I am very excited about Red Giant - champion seed, yay!

Bitter disappointment chokes me - they did a Blizzard, and changed Red Giant's prize to an unlimited helios ray
I had not been so excited about anything on howrse for years, and they changed it because it wasn't popular

I agree, I was genuinely looking forward to the original prize, it was something quite unique and I do like my foundations. Originally I was going to go all out for the divine, but now I'll leave it to luck. Unlimited Helios Ray is cool but not as enticing as the champion seed. It would have been like having a blast to the past with one in my inventory haha, haven't seen that item in so long (Obviously my account hasn't been new in a looong time )

Sparks is a Fire horse.
She'll give you a Hera's Lily.
Her bar requires 100 points, which makes me suspect a 25 days drop rate.
