Interesting new feature: you can choose how much % of energy you spend on a race. The more, the higher chance you win. You have several options in %. Those races win tokens for the community instead of kitty.

eg. you have 50 tokens you can buy five hops and get one free, you have 1000 tokens you can buy 2 hops and get one free...

I really like the idea of the big challenge, but I still think it's going to be a more of a, if you're a better player with a better ranking and an adult so you can pay for passes and stuff, then you have a lot more of a chance to get better rewards.

I don't think that will be true in this challenge. There will be objectives that will be very difficult for the new or lower level player but this is a community challenge and as a server in whole we should hope that the players that have certain things will get those objectives done. You get new objectives everyday.

Getting tokens is on an even playing field when looking at comps that give them out so no advantage to anyone there.

There is also MANY ways to get Fall..not just by being a top player.

The twitter news on the howrse home page says the Big Challenge will start on the 28th of April, so Monday ^_^

Yup.


Testing ends on the 27th so it seems logical that the 28th is the day.

Hm...the new Big Challenge sure seems interesting. I really hope that it'll offer the chance to stock up on BMI's- my supply is super low right now default smiley :(

I totally agree with you!

The new comp thing will make BLUPing so much harder. In real life you can choose how much energy you use but it all works out because in real life you can't click on the horse and see what skills it has. In the game you can so you can dertermine if it's worth entering the race.

I don't the comp feature will benefit anyone and if you were BLUPing you do need a lot of your horse's energy to fit in as many races as possible. I think this feature is only good for horses that have already been BLUPed and are still able to win comps because they can use all their energy on a couple races and win them all where as the horses that are still being BLUPed will fall far behind.

If this is introduced I'm really going to be upset. I didn't mind the H Ray changes, I didn't like how the trophy page was changed and the tack changes are great but I swear if they change the comps I'm gonna be so angry!

Just clarifying..

when you try to earn Fall as a community does everyone get the Divine or only the say... top 100 contributers? Because that would be very unfair.

However Fall is available in the reserved sales( if you have not already gotten him) for 5 to 20 passes depending on how many passes you have spent. We are working on getting the number clarified here.

This is what happens when only half the information is posted.

ONLY during token collection ( The Big Challenge promo) will you be able to adjust the energy used and ONLY on comps that have the token image( a blue horseshoe) can you do any adjusting.

Energy changing is for the promo only.

If you are BLUng simply chose the non blue horseshoe comps and you will be fine.

That's a relief! The vast majority of my horses are in various stages of BLUP'pig, so I don't know what I would do if I had to somehow figure out an entirely new BLUPping schedule based on this. Thanks for the clarification! default smiley ^)

I saw that posted on the International server.

It could be true but I have also found that the French server dances to a different drum beat many times so either way it will be the 28th or the 29th. Not really much difference here.
