The Music Wandering Horses

The concept is the same as usual: players attract the Wandering horses by completing specific objectives. Those horses also bring gifts. Once they have collected all the Wandering horses, they get the Divine horse.

The theme is “Music”, with each wandering horse representing a specific music genre (Hip-hop, Reggae, Jazz, etc.).

There are 11 + 1 wandering horses in total (the +1 being the community wandering horse).

For each Wandering horse you have to complete an objective a certain number of times in order to obtain it. You can see your progression with a meter. Once it is full, you obtain the horse and its attached gift(s).

They aren’t all unlocked from the beginning, you either wait or pay with passes to unlock them.

Changes Since Last Time

There have been quite a few changes for this edition, mostly to simplify it and make it more fun to play.

This contest makes you play with your Wandering horses. You can do almost everything with them, except making them reproduce and give them Black market items. You need a specific item to age them.

For some Wandering horses, you need to perform actions on the Wandering horses you already have (e.g. Equip a Wandering horse with tack, Groom a Wandering horse, Give Mash to a Wandering horse, etc.)

Wandering Horses can participate in competitions (which will be on an objective for a wandering horse). Because of this, competitions have a higher frequency (x4 for normal competitions, x6 for special horses competitions, except for competitions affected by the VIP perk enabling a player to choose the frequency of the competitions – those remain unchanged)

You can age you Wandering Horses with the contest’s item: the Treble Clef. (It can also be used to fill a Wandering horse’s meter). You cannot use aging points on them. (They also age “naturally” once a day, as the other horses)

Treble Clefs: can be obtained through UFOs, in the Weekend offers and when the Wandering horses wake up. They can be used to age a wandering horse or on it’s meter.

There’s isn’t any more “divine” wandering horse. You obtain the jackpot as soon as you have collected all Wandering horses.

The Wandering horses stay on a player’s account until 2 days after the contest ends

The Community Wandering Horse

A new community wandering horse is introduced: the Conductor. It is unlocked when players age enough wandering horses with treble clefs during the contest. Each time the meter is full, a new Community Wandering horse is unlocked.

These horses wander from player to player. (During the contest, playing with them counts for the contest and fills the meter, but they cannot be aged) and stay there for 24 hours.

NEW: When it is on your account, you can buy the coat of the Community Wandering Horse in question now (instead of the Wandering spirit), for 2 passes. This change is also applied to Wilderness.

It was fine for them. As long as they didn't have a ton of horses and whatever else determined it. The percentage you gained from it depended on certain things. I think on one server I was gaining 8% per comp or something because I had about 20 horses.

Ah. It seems that

the comps go up by a set rate. Everything I have seen mentioned the same rate and someone on equideow was doing calculations and such. I'm too lazy to math, but they say that is 157 comps.

Regarding the promo.

On preprod the rate is .64. This means you need to do about 157 comps to get that wanderer,

Here is a graft that Legacy Ann on International did that will help with all horses

We did get confirmation that treble clefs are not found every time you age your Wanderer. It's just a chance. I've managed to find one as a UFO at least once a day though.

Here is my updated spreadsheet to reflect how many points you get per Wanderer when you donate a Treble Clef to that Wanderer directly(an option, not required). Points earned could change on the live version, and I don't know that "days to unlock" is set in stone either, though we've unlocked one new Wanderer each day on preprod. . You can pay passes to unlock them early if you don't want to wait, and the number of passes required is based on how much time is left Events are typically 19 days long, so perhaps this could assist anyone with estimates. There isn't really a way to accurately factor in the number of free Treble Clefs you'll find, so that could decrease your estimate.

The way it is set up there is basically no pre-preparations to do. I did like the old way but I understood why people complained, so I guess this is a change for the better...

Is this the event directly following the GC & Derby, or whatever it is?

Typical that one of the few events I really want to participate & get far in, and I will only have about 6 days of access to!

The Insular Mine

The Elemental Mine has been changed a lot (according to player feedback) and is now back as the Insular Mine.

The concept is the same as usual: Break clusters of colored blocks and obtain chests. Open the chests to get gifts. Obtain enough chests to get the divine.

How does it work?

The Grid

Break color clusters in the mine to make chests fall down. A cluster is made of at least 2 blocks of the same color that are juxtaposed. *NEW* - you don’t need anything to break the clusters (no specific resource as the previous Elementals), this has been completely removed for this edition of the contest.

A new chest will appear once you recover the previous one.*NEW* - You can see in which column and if it’s close to appearing thanks to the indication with the gauge on top of the column (the gauge fills according to the amount of clusters you broke)

*NEW* There is no more daily reset of the grid. If you want to you must break the whole grid with the “bomb” (for free 1x/day and then for 10000 equus).

The Chests

There are 3 types of chests: wooden, golden and crystal that contain gifts of a certain value according to their rarity.

*NEW* Once you retrieve a chest from the grid, it is displayed in the chest block. There are 3 slots for chests in this block. You can’t retrieve any new chest when the block is full.

*NEW* - Opening chests: You have to wait a certain amount of time to open a chest or use boosters to shorten the time of waiting by 4 hours, or use a Master key to open 3 chests at the same time without waiting.

Boosters can be obtained at the daily login (2x/day), found in chests, bought against passes or bought in packs during the special offers.

The master key can be bought as well once your 3 slots are full.

The Divine

You obtain the divine once you have obtained enough chests. Every chest obtained fills the gauge in the divine block. The rarer the chest, the more points are brought to the gauge.

Taking a Vacation!

The celebration/candy contest comes back and takes you on a vacation! The principle remains the same, with a few adjustments.

Concept
The player is visited by kids that need 2 specific items to go on holidays. The player has to give them 2 items. The more they fit the kid's request, the more satisfaction points are given by the kid. Once you reach enough points, you with the divine horse.

Changes since last edition:

The theme (Airports & Vacations)

The items are vacation-themed (sunscreen, camera, etc)

There are no more curses from unsatisfied kids

There are flash sales but they have to be unlocked by completing the community goal

Players get additional items for completing a collection

If a player logs in 6 days in a row, they get extra items for the contest.

Winning the Divine

Collect 7400 satisfaction points to win Baldr.

My note. This is similar to the Halloween give candies to the kids promo we had last October.

Prizes for the next promo.

Water Balloon Fight

The Water Balloon fight gets a complete make-over for this edition, especially in regard to the rankings and the gifts. There are still UFOs of water balloons flying around that contain gifts.

When you catch a UFO now you have to choose between:

keeping the gift and losing points in the rankings

throwing the UFO further to another player (declining the gift) and progressing in the rankings.

It is important that you choose so that you can receive UFOs again.

The content of the UFOs is different (and more interesting now.)

The number of points depends of the value of the gift.

You start with 0 points and the counter increases according to the choice you make. If you only choose to keep the gifts, you can get a negative point count.

Collect as many points as possible and climb the rankings to win:

1st to 5th: Hippogriff
5th to 10th: Mały and Golden Fleece
10th to 15th: 小さな and Golden Fleece
15th to 50th: Golden Fleece
50th to 100th: Golden Apple
100th to 200th: Achilles' Heel
200th to 500th: Medusa's Blood
500th to Xth: Apollo's Lyre

New Co-Management System

The co-management system is being adjusted to be safer and easier to use. It isn’t possible anymore to have several players logged in the same account at the same time.

All the details are explained in the changelog.

A. Adding a comanager -- works the same as previously

B. Activating the comanagement -- many changes

Players now need to activate comanagement on the profile menu when logging out if they want other players to access their account when they are away.
This activation lasts until the account owner logs in again and must be repeated everytime they log out.
If the player doesn’t come back earlier, it lasts for 30 days. Then the player has to activate it for 30 days again.

C. Connecting on another player’s account -- many changes

You now connect on another player’s account via the co-management on the account sharing page http://[yourversion.xx]/member/account/?type=partage

--Next to the list of players that gave you co-management access you have a “connect” button that you have to press to connect to the account.

--If it’s greyed out it’s either because: the owner hasn’t activated account sharing, the owner or another player is already logged in, or the player doesn’t have enough karma

--With this, there can be only one person at a time on an account.

--The account owner has priority, and will kick a co-manager out if they log in.

Am really looking forward to the new Water Balloon Fight changes since some of the prizes are actually really great!

Giving players that option to keep or throw on (when there isn't a guarantee of getting the ranking you want) is going to be more a challenge and fun i think.

I have to admit, i am likely to forget to active co-management myself (sorry team members!)

When your busy or tired you don't always stop and think if there is something else that needed doing. Sometimes you have to log or lose connection due to real life situations and emergencies outside of the game.
