How can we get a draft horse?
Is the breed actually Draft Horse or will it be something like a Clydesdale? |

Will we still be able to buy bonuses from the shop? Honestly I don't want to spend hours 'crafting' things or be forced to spend time on my EC....I hate doing anything to my EC, I play to breed horses. I don't know for sure, but I would assume we would still be able to since there are players who don't want to have an EC (like yourself) and of course anyone below a certain seniority can't start an EC at all... I wish they kept the meadows and boxes, meadows are great if you dont want to waste your EC fodder, and boxes for those little bonuses... Click to display From what I've read, an ECs meadows or prestige rating will be providing some of the fodder now - so (if I understand right), when you feed your horse the game will take into consideration the ECs prestige and reduce the amount of fodder removed from the horse owner/EC owners inventory. This is what ShorahNagi wrote on the Int server: "The Prestige of the Center will also allow for Free Fodder to be given. Centers will still be able to grow and offer Fodder, but this will allow for extra fodder to help Centers keep their stocks and to help others. The Feed Menu will tell you exactly how much will be taken from Inventory and Center"

How can we get a draft horse? Is the breed actually Draft Horse or will it be something like a Clydesdale? Click to display On the International server people are saying that they can be bred, but they will have limited covers like the donkeys (so three in their lifetime apparently). I don't think anyone has any information on the breed/s yet, although if it turns out to be the Haflingers I might have a giggle fit  That would be adorable!Also, classical ECs will be able to raise cows, but anyone who doesn't want to has the option to buy leather from the shop instead ^_^

If it's haflingers then the Howrse team has listened to my ideas. I sent in an idea about haflingers being brought to Howrse. But I do really hope they bring Clydesdales too.
Is it true they are like donkeys and can only have three coverings? I hope not! If that is so can we crossbreed them? |

It might be true it might not be, we wont know untill probably late april or early may? My guess from Int And dont think they would be crossbred, but if they could im guessing only with other draft horses? Does anyone know if draft horses will lose GP instead of gaining it like a donkey? I hope its like that, it would be cool but again, wont know untill maybe late april to early may MY guess. |

I think the chances are very low Haflingers will be introduced as a Draft Horse breed, since they are already on other servers as normal breeds. They might come as normal horse breeds in the future though.

this new update sounds fun, but i wish there could be the old EC inventory and the normal breeder's inventory again, I really miss that

It seems like Howrse is doing all the things they once stated they would never do; Draft horses and winged uni's being just two of those
Does anyone else seem to think so, or is it just me? lol

I don't think Howrse is "caving" to player demands- I think they realized that both unipegs and draft horses could be incorporated into the game in a relatively easy way, and that they would improve the game (at least unipegs do, those extra bonuses are nice). There's a lot of thought and ideas that go into development, and everything we see as players is the end result of way too much over-thinking and over-analyzing the small details.

I don't necessarily think these are bad things, just ironic. When we had the Idea's Forum on the International version, they were forever going on about how Draft horses won't be added and nor will winged unis.

If by 'Draft Horse Coats' you mean for the Creation Space - Yes, as stated in the Preprod Time Line section about Drafts: Two draft horse breeds are added to the game! Draft horse breeds work in the same manner as donkeys, meaning they can breed three times in their lifetime. They behave the same as other horses (BLUP, competitions, training...). Mission earnings are twice the earnings of a regular horse: they earn twice as many skill points, twice as many Equus and bring twice as many resources or Equus to the equestrian center. Players can submit creations for draught horses in the creative space. *Draught is another word for Draft (often used in the UK) |

Answered by ShorahNagi Nope - however; Click to display I did find a screen shot of the Create a Team page that had Shires listed as a breed, so it's possible that this will be one of the breeds. But nothing is known for sure. |

Wait... If the new updates are going to change our EC drastically... does that mean that we have to restart our EC again? Or do we still keep them?

I wouldn't imagine they'd make us restart our EC; many of us have put passes into them and Howrse would receive quite a few complaints if they just deleted our EC's.
