Since we'll be creating our own bonuses now does that mean our Peggy account perk for free whips is out the window? And what about the Horseshoe Studs, are VIPs the only ones able to produce them?

Ooh, good point Corinne. It would make sense to let Pegs/VIP's keep the free whip bonus, as well as keep the studs VIP-exclusive. Really wish Howrse would update the Peg account; I love mine to death, but we're kind of the step-child in the world of Howrse.

I think the game need to be no more complicated. I don't know if i am looking forward to these EC updates, it also sounds like a lot of work to make all of the things you need instead of being able to buy it from the store. I often miss the normal harvest times lol, let alone making a whole bunch of cows, leather, bonuses all the rest!

Im realy looking foward to the challange of the new update that is coming.
Just a few questions tho.

1) Can we sell bridles and saddles at the store?
2) If so can they in turn be purchesed by others? or do they just go into the ether?
3) can a classic EC make western tack?
4) Will we be able to upgrade boxes? or do we have to tear-down and rebuild?
5) Any idea on the prestage verses workshop ratio?

any answers will be of great help to me as i plan my way

To add on to Teddy's list, what about Hypnos' Blankets? Will those just be removed, or will they be tweaked to accommodate the upcoming changes?

2--no they go to your inventory or sold to the store
3--yes and visa versa
4--no--disabled for good. You either build or buy. If you destroy you get nothing back. You must destroy to replace
5--ECs of 80% or mare can have 5 workshops ( highest amount). Less than that it goes down. ( workshop refers to any size)

TattyTeddy - from what I've read, not only will we be able to sell saddles and bridles but the shop will supposedly be stocked by players exclusively. Sort of like with the droppings if you recall, except the price will vary depending on supply and demand - so if supply is low and demand is high the price will also be high and you can make a tonne of money by choosing to sell at that time (and vice versa). I'm pretty excited about that change

About boxes, I think I read on the Int spoiler forum that boxes will not be upgrade-able.

Luthien Tinuviel, why would Hypnos' Blankets need to be removed/tweaked? I can't really think of any changes that would interfere with them, but then again I don't really use them much so maybe there's something I'm missing about they way they work

Does not apply to buildings though. Only small items can go into your inventory once made.

Wait im not understanding the box situation
So we cant repair boxes? Does that mean they will still break eventualy?
Do we have to make them? Is getting bedding still the same?

"They are repaired the same way as we do now, by going to the boxes page, selecting the boxes we want to repair and clicking repair the boxes. The only difference is that it uses resources rather than equus."

No problem Horseychook and Baa, but to be fair I'm just passing on the info from Int

We get resources from horses doing lessons (missions) at our EC or by purchasing them from the shop (for 10e per item apparently - including for leather). I think there are some other things we need to actually grow though (flax for polo wraps, saddle cloths, bonnets, etc) and I think I heard there might be resources in UFO too but I'm guessing the amount would not be that high for those.

Someone on Int posted an image showing how many items they got from horses boarded at their EC and it seems like the number depends on the skills of the horse. The range seems like it will be between 2 and 30 items per mission, so the higher the skills of the horse the more items we get

Just as an example, if you train a high GP skillor at your EC (using WoY and 20 x Pieces of Cloud) the horse does 357 lessons during the skilling process. Depending on the skills of the horses, you will probably earn over 6,000 items if the numbers we have so far are correct!
