What hopeless divines lol, pretty but useless. I guess it will give me time to save my passes up for something worthwhile. I'm still kicking myself for spending big to get Gullfaxi because he was so pretty...Lesson learneddefault smiley :)

It seems like Howrse is making a shift in the value of Divines from BMI/Diamond vendors to ones that offer game play perks instead.
I'm not necessarily opposed to game play perks (they might change the game in some interesting ways) but I wonder why they chose the Divines to be the vehicle. Howrse has already set a pretty high standard for what a Divine is supposed to be, so player dissatisfaction was going to be inevitable with this downgrade.
I guess Howrse is banking on Trophy and/or Divine collectors wanting them no matter what they offer, but I personally don't feel compelled to complete every promo anymore (which is actually kind of nice default smiley ^) ).

Wonder if they will ever have divines with the 12 signs of the zodiac,they would be interesting to design and I think would want to have something pretty special that each did that related to them.
I haven't had much luck winning any for some time,but it will happen again one day,just hope it's one of the better ones.default smiley :)

HEY I just realised, we might have a donkey divine soemthime soon! I think howrse is doing Chinese divines as different species, like Qilin the unicorn and Tianma the Pegasus.

Yes I know that, I meant that he's a donkey in the sense that since his GP is so stupidly low for a Divine, all of his offspring are going to have low GP's as well. So, in a sense, he's like a donkey in that he doesn't improve the GP but lowers it, just like a donkey.

1) Calm down.

2) My comment about Qilin being a functional donkey was in no way attacking you or any other Chinese person on here.

3) Let's be real here, the execution of Qilin could have been a lot better. I get that they couldn't make his GP super high, because then that would be too easy for uni breeders, but his GP is abysmal. There's no other way to put it. His concept is cool, his artwork is interesting to look at, but other than the fact that he gives a +15 bonus in every skill to uni offspring, he's kind of...well, useless. He definitely could have had some more thought put into him and his abilities.

I don't have a Qilin but I have seen a couple on the game with quite high skills, with a bit of effort I believe Qilin can be an exceptional divine. No offender to anyone just my point of view default smiley ;) default smiley :d

Well I'm Chinese, and i'm fine with the chinese divines, and to be honest, I couldn't really care less if Qilin is a pretty useless divine, or Tianma... There are worse divines...

Chinese here too...Dunno bout you but they did a pretty good design on the coats and such excpet who is Qilin? Did i completley miss out on that divine because I don't remember it every comming to Australia..

Except the donkey bonus is only for VIP players. It'd be useless to the majority of Howrse.

Also guys, saying that the Chinese themed divine is fairly useless is in no way directed at the (hugely vast, I might add) Chinese population.

I mean unless howrse releases a bogan Aussie divine or a sheep divine (yes, NZ) I'm sure none of it is at all directed at cultural differences or variations. And unless you're a pixel pony named Qilin, no matter your nationality, the criticism of some players is directed entirely away from you. Really.

Ghost Waters - Qilin was offered as the prize for finishing the Chinese Zodiac Puzzles from the start of this year (February I believe).

I think Qilin is great ^_^ Free fertility wand every month and a relatively 'cheap' way to gain skills (compared to the gemstone's for instance)... Seems like one of the better divines to me default smiley (y)

I suppose. I felt I was being persuaded into thinking that his main purpose was to produce unicorns. 180 GP? Thanks Ow. I know I'm gonna cop heaps of hate because yes, the foals CANT have a chance at the rankings. But thanks to him, there's this ridiculous economy of 200 GP horses.

Thans for letting me know default smiley :) I was away on holidays so I probably mised out on a bit in Feburary.

Bogan aussie divine... hahaha oh my gosh you're killing me here! default smiley xd I can just imagine it... With a run down old aussie country town/farm and a couple of chickens at it's feet. It'll probably be wearing baggy torn up garments with mud splattered gum boots.. and that iconic hat with corks. And the hat will cover half its face so it has to strain upwards and peek out from underneath it to see anything... Bonuses: None. It's an Authentic Australian Bogan horse style. What more could you want? (gosh i hope they let me draw this one out for themdefault smiley :p )

If you are a major uni breeder it probably is very helpful. To the rest of us it does nothing to help us other than to say we have a divine. I sat that promo out as I had no intention on even throwing 1 equs his way.

I was able to save my passes/diamonds and equs for a divine that was more productive in what I wanted. default smiley :)

But this is how you must play this game. I will not be putting much effort towards the Tianma divine either

Qilin is NOT useless, he is amazing. You anger my best friend, and you anger me. Doesn't Tianma look pretty? Doesn't matter what they do... But appreciate them at least!

Anyway, looks like Gypse is having a change...
