Great Challenge / Snow Battle


The contest will take place in two parts:

The Challenge phase: players collect horseshoes by completing objectives;

The Festivities: there will be a Snow Battle during which players will be able to earn points & gifts.

VIP players can try to find the new divine horse Fuji in the Titan’s Challenge during the Challenge phase and they will also benefit for the commercial offers as soon as they have unlocked them.


When the Festivities begin, there's a Snow Battle and the divine horse can be found by everyone in the luck items.

Great Challenge Phase
Some changes have been made to the Great Challenge:
Complete objectives and fill your wagon with horseshoes

Every day, you will have the choice between 9 different objectives that you will be able to complete over and over.

When you complete your objectives, you win horseshoes that go into your wagon.

Your wagon is full when you collect 100 horseshoes.

NOTE: Be careful: with 100 horseshoes, your wagon will be full and the objectives will no longer give you horseshoes!



Send your wagon to win gifts and unlock bonus items

To win items and gifts you’ll need to send your wagon away: your collected horseshoes will fill a certain number of gauges, each gauge that has been fulfilled will give you gifts. With one wagon you can fill several gauges and win several gifts!

Whether you have obtained your 100 horseshoes or not, your wagon will be sent automatically at the end of the day.

Once you have sent your 100 horseshoes away, you will unlock one last objective that will give you a chance to obtain 2 bonus items for the Festivities if you complete it.



Don’t forget the community goal!

Contribute to the community goal to have more UFOs/session for the Battle during the Festivities.

Festivities

The festivities will take place around a great Snow Battle! A day is cut into 3 sessions, the number of UFOs you will encounter will be determined by the number of horseshoes collected during the Great Challenge (community goal).

The UFOs will provide you different gifts and you will have to choose what you want to do with your new acquired gifts:

Keep the gift and loose points;
Send the gift back to a random player and win points;
Spend Equus to replace the UFO by another one, that can be better or worse.


NOTE : The price grows each time you use that option

The price is re-initialized at the beginning of the next session
Acquiring points allows you to conquer a ranking that will offer you a gift linked to this rank.


Bonus Items


When choosing to keep the gift or to send the gift back, you can use bonus items which you can obtain by:

winning competitions with your horse
being helped by your friends
receiving them with your participation in the Great Challenge

Bonus items give you some bonus points in addition to the points from the UFO.

You can use several bonuses with the same UFO, yet the number of bonus points given by each bonus item is lower.

You will be able to track:
History of the items you won;
Your position in real time in the ranking with how many points you have;
A podium where you can see the jackpots you could win;
The gift you can expect to win if you keep your position at the end of the contest.

How to get Fuji:
By a chance in the Titan Challenge or by accumulating enough Divine Fragments;

The Japanese Horses are divine horses. Each horse is inspired by an element from Japanese tradition.

Every day, choose one of the Omikujis they offer and discover your prize.

Fuji will give you Omikujis every day when he wakes up.

The principle is the same as the previous edition, with a few adjustments and a new theme: Christmas!


How does it work?


The player will need to find their way out of 5 different mazes, that become larger and more difficult. They choose a horse to enter the maze, move from square to square by using paces or treats. The horse's paces regenerate from 1 pace every 2 hours up until 10 paces.

NOTE: Once the player enters a maze, they will need to go to the end to get out of it.

Once the player found the exit of a maze, they are allowed to enter the next one. At the end of the 4th & 5th maze, they will receive the divine horse.


What's In the Maze?

Treats - gives extra moves that can be used when the player wants
Square-revealing booster - reveals a few squares around the player
Obstacles - allows the player to take a shortcut if they're able to solve it
Reindeer gifts
Divine portals


NOTE: To resolve an obstacle, the player will need to find the right horse to pass through it.

New feature: Divine Portals

The divine portals will open on 12/25 at midnight! When a player enters a divine portal, they will gain access to 5 new mazes where they will be able to win divine horses.

NOTE: Which divines are in the portals will not be revealed during this test.

When the player enters a divine portal they can:

Go out whenever they want;

Finish it in order to get the jackpot.

Once out, they can:

Pick a new divine portal;

Continue on their way in the normal maze where they were before.

In future you can breed Bellahorns with your Falabellas and Falacorns.Bellahorns will get the horn from Falacorn and wings from Falabella
Bellahorns will get a 1% chance to give your winged unicorns a bonus in competitions.This chance can be combined iff you have more than one Bellahorn.

Players must complete missions on the grid to win chests and fill their Mysterious Jackpot gauge.

How to Play:


Missions
Like last time, players have missions to accomplish in order to win a chest. But there is more strategy now!
Missions ask players to destroy different Crystals on the grid.


Destroying Crystals

Players have to destroy Crystals in a grid containing 3 or 4 colors of Crystals (NEW!). They destroy them by clicking on a group of at least 2 Crystals of the same color.


Special Blocks

Sometimes players will find Special Blocks on the grid:
Item to move down at the bottom of the grid, while destroying crystals below (Totems)
Item to break, while destroying several Christmasrystals that touch it (Ice blocks)


Rockets

Players can also create a Rocket (bonus) when destroying enough Crystals at once. Players have to click on the Rocket to activate it. It helps players to destroy more Crystals on the grid.

NEW! : Rockets have directions. It can now destroy a line or a column depending on its orientation. Players can’t change the direction, it’s random.

The Blast Option

In order to go faster, I can use a blast option, that destroys all blocks on the grid. This blast option is free for the first time of the day and costs a 20 passes then.

Completing Missions

Each time a player destroys some blocks on the grid, points are added to the chest gauge. The more blocks they destroy at once, the more points they get on their chest gauge.

When destroying enough Crystals or Special Blocks, according to the goal that was given to them :

the level ends

NEW! Some bonus points can be added to the chest gauge if the player was able to complete the goal in a low number of moves.



When players complete the mission they receive:

A chest (that is added on one of the available slots). Rarity depends on how the chest gauge is filled:
There 2 graduations on the gauge:
If they don’t reach the first one, they get a Wood chest
If they reach the first one, they get a Gold Chest
If I reach the last one, they get a Crystal Chest

Would have been an awesome opportunity to add a new draught breed to the game. I was just reading about the Noriker, a mountain breed of draught that can be leopard spotted in colour! Something like that would be nice.

The Love Cards

Same principle as previous editions. Players collect cards and complete puzzles.

This edition will feature love through times and culture.

Each puzzle represents a story between two characters:

How to Play


First, the player has to collect cards!
Here's how:

First login of the day (2 cards per day)
By taking a ride with a horse (1 card per day)
By winning competitions (1 card per day)
In flash sales
Buying them with passes
In pack when they are activated


Then cards need to be scratched.

Players can either activate or trade the card received by paying Equus - The trade is possible only if they have a copy of the card already. The trade is available once a day and prices vary according the rarity of the cards.

Cards scratched will complete puzzles. Once a puzzle is completed, the player receives a gift. When the player completes all puzzles, they receive Shodō as the jackpot.


Flash Sales

You can buy cards with Equus thanks to the Flash sales.

The quantity of each card type depends the rarity of the card (eg: Bronze cards will have a higher chance of being available in the flash sales than Diamond card).

The private sale gauge: On the top of the flash sales page, the player will find a gauge. The gauge fills up when the player buys Cards in Flash Sales and allows the player to unlock private sales!

10% it triggers a private sale of a Bronze Joker Card

25% it triggers a private sale of a Silver Joker Card

50% it triggers a private sale of a Gold Joker Card

100% or more, it triggers a private sale of a Diamond Joker Card

Any more info on the new marwari breed? I tried finding it in the directories on the test server but it wasn't up there yet

Basically the horse that is being offered in the cards shows as the Marwari breed, so the assumption is that it could be a new breed for servers that don't have it. It could also be a selected breed that each server already has. The test server is taken from the International server and they have this breed already, so showing that breed would not be unusual. Nothing on preprod is even stating there is a new breed and they usually say so. So for now we can only hope it is true.
