Here are a few ways to receive a gift through Item Donations:

1. Send a gift to an active friend and hope that they see it and return the gesture.

2. If you have friends off-site who play, you can ask them and they will likely help.

3. Put a note on your presentation page and congratulate your friends. One of them may see your note and send you a gift.

I'm stuck on the No. 39 Objective 'Win 1 x Golden horseshoe in an event'.
Ive done everything up to No. 51 and 52 objectives that needs the Direct Sale unlocked to be completed.
Ive got two Golden horseshoes so far, and they don't seem to point towards the objective.

Any idea on how to get one relatively soon?

I'm trying to do the daily objective to "repair a building". I gonna assume they mean one of the buildings in my equestrian center. How do I do that? none of my buildings in my center are any higher than 30% wear and tear, is there supposed to be a button I click on to repair, or do I have to wait until the W&T is a higher percentage?

in your equestrian centre - boxes, glasshouses or workshop

click on the little white box so it has a tick in it

click the change boxes/glasshouse/workshop

then click repair the selected boxes/glasshouse/workshop

and it will be repaired to 0% damage no matter how much wear and tear it had

To give your horse a companion you probably need to have one in your inventory (the events sometimes offer them)

occasionally they are offered

to give them to your horse go to the black market or click the green + under items on your horses page

Hi everyone,
I keep getting stuck with daily objectives. I get to day 4 or 5 in a row and then it asks for me to equip a horse with a particular coloured ear bonnet that I do not have. For example, today it wants me to use a **red ear bonnet. I've never had one in this colour, and didn't even know they existed.
This has happened to me 3 times now and makes me start back over at day 1 for the HOP. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? How do you actually get coloured ear bonnets? I can't buy them from the store, and I can't make them. Do they only come along in events or UFO's?
And if I don't have that coloured ear bonnet, is it considered impolite to ask my friends if they have one in stock? Any suggestions would be great ! Thanks a bunch!

Or is there a particular place I can post a message saying that I need an item like that and am happy to do a trade? I looked at item exchange, but that is only for black market items, correct?
Is there even a way to exchange items of tack without miss-using the game features?

@ Star*** , with exception to advertising for available boxes in the Equestrian Centre Classifieds, players are not allowed to advertise horse sales/coverings or beg for items in the forums. You may do this on your presentation page only.

Some black market items are only available during promotions, therefore won't be available for trading in the item exchange.

This is a basic explanation as to how trades work on Howrse, copied and pasted from my own presentation:

"It's reminded Howrse is set up for the following "trades" only
~ horses for either equus, passes or both
~ black market items in exchange for other black market items or equus

The game is not set up for trading horses for horses, horses for black market items or black market items for passes.
If engaging in such trades, you are playing the game as unintended, therefore doing so at your own risk
It is the buyers' responsibility to check any information, including whether divines can be sold or donkeys still have coverings left.

Look on your trophy page (on the blue bar under achievements) and see if there is any you are close too receiving a trophy for

- possibly the easiest is coats for breeds of horse as some only require a handful of different coats

- but have a look through them all - there might be something you only need to complete one thing to get a trophy

I'm sure to have horses with companions, but don't want to browse 522 horses...

Yes, the horse needs to be 3 years old - you'll find the information under the 'competitions' tab on their page.

You have to use it.

You won't get anymore objectives until you use it
