Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

Daily Objectives :

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty ! You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the “Daily Objectives” page.

Within this thread players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

All forum rules apply.

Warm Regards,

The Howrse Team

Are you asking how to play howrse? There is a help center here. As well as the questions, there are links for the breeder's manual and the equestrian center manual at the bottom of the page - more specific questions would be easier to answer default smiley :)

daily objective:
How do I repair a building when I have non to repair . That is: boxes , greenhouses or workshops .
Today if uncompleted on day 6 that will take me back to the beginning.
Again the horn of plenty out of reach.
I can accept if I don't complete for some reason or another. eg cover a unicorn. I can always buy a male and female.
But something I have no control over is not right.
Has it something to do with stopping you getting to day 7 and the Horn of plenty.

you can repair any building by ticking the little box and then clicking 'change workshops' or 'change boxes' and clicking repair box/workshop

My tips for this objective are:
1. To ask your friends for help
2. Ask the forum for help like you have
3. Send a massive amount of congrats to other people (this is time consuming but there is a higher chance you will get a few people see your congrats and return the favour)

If all else fails you can always find players (such as myself) who are happy to help (through the forums or their profiles) and send them a nice message asking for help! default smiley ^)

Hopefully you get your congratulations on time!

One of my objectives is to feed a pegasus. I gave an apple to another user's pegasus since I don't own one. Does this count or do I have to feed a pegasus that I own? I didn't get any indicators that I've completed the objectives.
You need to feed your own pegasus (fodder or oats)

I find it so annoying when I get the 'win a rosette' challenge. Could I just say that I think this challenge should be removed as it requires you to buy passes, purchase a skillor, then train it up and find a competition with a rosette to win. this challenge is only exclusively to the older players who actually have skillys I find that unfair and just plain annoying. could you please remove it as it is no help to anyone?

one of mine says train for 3 consecutive hours, what does it mean?

your only options are to put wings on one of your own horses or buy a pegasus or not complete it (these are voluntary so if you cant do them there will be new objectives tomorrow, there are a few I dont do)

this means find a horse that has not completed its training, select the training (dressage, speed, stamina, trot, gallop or jump) select 3 hours, select train and its completed

I really dislike some of these objectives.
Some players do not own donkeys/drafts/unicorns/pegasus to use for the objectives and it feels mean to make people do that. 'Win a rosette' is also ridiculous in my opinion because unless you actually have access to top quality stock you will be unable to complete it and if you spend the many passes to buy quality horses that horse will become out of date very quickly. Unless you own a highly skilled divine such as some of the water ones or are part of a top team, you will be unable to keep up.
It just doesn't seem fair- generally only people who have been playing for years can be at the top and I think we should have an even playing field.

A lot of the daily objectives need to be revised, like the win a rosette objective should only be there if you have won a rosette before, new players under 100 days who do not have every species of horse shouldn't receive objectives about that either.

There should be easier objectives that get harder the more you progress to make it fair for new and existing players

That's what I think anyway

My objective for today is to get a gift from another player. Some of these are not worth it because 1 don't have it or two can't do it because I don't have access to it, etc.

Found out that you can't make breeding farms until past objective 75 (one of the perks of the pegasus account I have purchased is you can make more than the standard 5...) and it's irritating that I can only work on one objective at a time right now, because I have the log on for 10 consecutive days, and log on for 14 consecutive days as two of the three objectives.
I haven't got to the rosette one, but I'm dreading it. What number is it?
Now I just need someone to buy one of my horses, which I'm pretty sure I have underpriced to get them sold!
I like the concept of the objectives, as it gives you things to do, but it does seem like it needs some rebalancing.
