Galaxy Star sure fits, those starry clouds over her back actually resemble wings. Weren't it for her shadow, she could really look like flying. ❤Into The Storm❤ is a bit overwhelming. The yellow lightnings spoil the contrast between black shades and his own white ones. Besides there are way more shades of black on his coat than in the landscape, and texture drive them apart as well. But aside from details, it's a match. Secret Love Song is beautiful, her coat's colours match the sky like she embodies a ray of light falling down the snowy ground. Queen of Hearts is gorgeous, she truly seems to belong in those woods with the woody tone of her coat and the reddish glow over her silhouette. The whites catch the eyes so she doesn't get drowned either. Silver looks nice but the snow matches her coat so well that her line up hardly stands out. Also it highlights her black hooves floating over the ground rather than stepping on it. ----- @Kayla1012 - Twisty is genious, that misty blurry landscape with the tree leaves similar to her texture make it look like she's just emerged under our sight. Delightful. ~ |

The below is an extended story on this coat and landscape match for those players who value symbolism and representation as much as I do. Though, it is a touch long, so I decided to hide it away from those who are not interested. Click to display Before we can go any further, my birthstone is a Sapphire, my Chinese zodiac symbol is an Ox, and my Astronomical zodiac symbol is the Libra (scales/balance). - Coat Selection - Now, I would've used this coat on my foundation, but alas it was limited to only Unicorns. The coat is from what I believe the Chinese zodiac series, and represents the Ox (each of the coats submitted by the same player all feature the same tag name (Zodiaque) as well as a red Chinese lantern). The Ox is the only animal of the 12 that have horns, so I am left to assume that I am correct in believing I have myself the Ox. The eye of the coat is coincidentally blue, which would tie in the Sapphire. - The Breed - The Fjord is my founding breed on this server, so it was only fitting that my first Unicorn(s) were also Fjords. - Name Selection - HangingintheBalance refers to the Libra's symbol of 'scales', meaning balance. - Personality - The predominantly red background not only compliments the lantern, but is also representative of my short temper and passion for fire (which is also luckily part of my job), but also my passion for life, and anyone in it.

I've had the horse for a while and thought I'd give it a background I'm pretty happy with the colours since this pegasus is a bit fussy with colouring and the fact it needs to be off the ground |
For anyone who may be curious, I was wrong about the above Chinese zodiac coat.
I think the coat I have used on HangingintheBalance is actually a ram's coat, rather than an ox. I googled the Chinese symbol and that's the conclusion I came to. Either way, it's the closest I will probably get, and both animals share similarities. But if anyone should come across an ox zodiac coat anytime soon don't hesitate to PM me about it
