GP gain

does anyone know the statistics of GP gain?
I only breed fully blupped, but sometimes it only raises 60 points and others its over 100 gp gained.
I am just confused at the math lol thank you default smiley ^)

As far as I remember, the BLUP only affects inborn skills, not GP...

Thats great to know! but now i am even more confused on the math that factors GP. Thank you for that info though default smiley :)

GP gain is absolutely from the parents current GP and their BLUP default smiley ^)

Taken from the Breeders Manual ''The higher the parents' average BLUP values, the higher the chances for the foal to have a high genetic potential and innate skills"

In terms of why it jumps more per generation for some and not others is due to the highest GP of that breed currently in the game. For example Arabians are in the 23,000 GP range at the moment and their increase per gen is about 10 (I'm in an Arabian team) whereas a lessor bred breed could be increasing at 100 GP per generation.
