just wanted to add: on the PC version you can hover over the BLUP bar of the horse in question and see, which requirements are met and which are still missing. ("x/20 victories" as well) (:

All classical competitions require dressage as a skill, train dressage and that might help
Also do your mountain and forest rides that will help your horse get more skill points
