Special Duct Tape

would be nice if my duct tape would actually show up - not even in completed rooms this events going nowhere for me and I already have this divine

Heyy, I might just be incredibly dense, but I'm unable to find the events tab to actually access the event? The tutorial from my mail sent me there, but I can't seem to locate it anymore </3

You'll find the link up on the top of your page left hand side, click on the arrow and it will bring up all the special events, that's where you'll find access to the Workshop

I'm a bit confused. I've gone to the end of the first workshop to get all the duct tapes and I am missing one...I picked the tape up in every door and I received it (supposedly) in the advent calender, so I am not sure what I am missing??

And just adding, I also took part in secret Santa, so should have received one for that. I have just sent a message to contact us as suspecting a glitch...hoping I am not missing something really obvious!

I had a look at my tape history, which shows three from the advent calendar, and a 'Present received' on the 19th of December, which I guess was the secret santa... I can send you a list of what rooms had the tape if you need it.

Thank you. I've triple checked the rooms and i seem to have received them. I only seem to have 2 from the advent calender, yet opened every door. unless i am remembering incorrectly- but im positive... do you know what dates they were received? Mineis saying the 17th and 22nd... i really don't think i missed a day...i can't go back and check now of course...

Yes, I'm also down one Duct Tape, I collected all from the rooms they were supposedly in, I received two from the Advent Calendar and one from Secret Santa.
Can't understand why they cut that one so fine

Now I'll go and check my Duct Tape History and see if I collected a Duct Tape from all the rooms in my list at the top here

Yep, numbers of Duct Tape corresponds with all the rooms exactly, but the info is incorrect, your not short just 1 which you pick up from the Advent Calendar, you are actually short 4, 1 from the Secret Santa, and 3 from the Advent Calendar, but I only received 2 from the Advent Calendar.

Thanks. I have sent a message to contact us, as I know I opened all the advent calender. I shouldn't be down one. I went all the way to the end of Feliz Navaad, thinking I had one more to collect there. Nit of a waste of energy and meaning I have less chance of managing to complete any of the other workshops without lots of passes spent.

Yep I did definitely open all the advent calendar and I collected from every room in the workshop and took part in secret santa. I SHOULD have had all the tapes. Have sent a ticket to contact about it.

Ok, so thought I'd update with the reply from contact.... apparently because the tutorial was completed AFTER opening the first advent calendar door, I missed out on the duct tape from the tutorial! Its not that I didn't complete it. I just must have opened the advent calendar door first! I will copy and paste some of what I received from admin (hope thats ok)... it seems very unfair that they are not going to reinstate the missing duct tape. It was not stated anywhere you must do the tutorial before opening your advent calendar and its not that I didn't complete everything as should be.pretty annoyed at the response....

This issue occurred because the Doors event tutorial was completed after claiming your first Duct tape from the Advent Calendar. Unfortunately, when the tutorial isn't completed, any duct tape obtained outside of the event (Advent Calendar, Secret Santa, etc) is not added to your account.

This has been brought up with the team, and they will be looking into this for the next edition of the Doors event. Unfortunately, we are unable to add the missing Duct tape to your account for this issue".

Yes, I thought that's probably what had happened.
I would not have wasted all those clicks on 4 useless Duct Tape if we'd known this, beforehand, could of claimed more prizes instead, very disappointed in Howrse, they've let us down yet again!!!
