You're welcome to play around with creating hyperlinks in that thread, even if it takes a few goes to get it right. It isn't a big issue, but does make things more convenient for other users when they're viewing your horses (and it can be a handy skill to master.)

Now I'm sure some of you might have seen him already and I must admit it isn't a great colour match, but there's a story behind him. When I found the coat, I really liked it and was wondering what the name translated to. I then found out the name stands for the species of bird the coat resembles, the bohemian waxwing. I looked up a few pictures and noticed them around trees with certain red berries which were apparently rowan berries. I knew this background existed and it looked like the trees held these berries, so I found this a pretty good match. Then the name; Aucuparia is the Latin name for the subspecie rowan berry. I liked the sound of it and it fit well, so that's how I got the name. Really, I never had such a story/time of research behind a coat/background/name, but I think it's worth it for a skiller since to me it's a very special horse. <3 |

I also forgot to add that he wears the only copy of that coat, which makes him a little more unique. He was also the highest skilled horse of the game on the 6th of May.

Hadn't shown off my background choice for Shiny Yellow yet - so here we go!
Shiny Yellow I'm growing to like partial matches more than total matches; notice the grey background, with the yellow sun coming over the hill shining on the horse. It just makes the horse blink out more, which I kinda like. |
Nice ones! Yes Barbara, I try to find ones that have enough colour to tie the horse into the background, yet still let them stand out - but the final choice goes to my daughter, who likes them to blend in
