Hello everyone,
You may have already seen this in the spoilers: A new version of the Howrse app is coming very soon to iOS and Android!
For players already using the current app, an update will be required to enjoy this new version. And for those who have found the app too limited up until now, this might be the perfect time to jump into the mobile adventure!
The most significant change is the switch to landscape layout. This change finally allows us to offer you the full Howrse experience on mobile, with navigation and gameplay that are much closer to the web version.
This update will also include several changes to the interface and navigation.
Among the main changes:
Switch to landscape mode on mobile;
New organization of certain menus;
Grouping of events and offers into a single section;
Ascent of Olympus accessible from this section;
The payment methods available on the app have been updated.
The web version will also be updated with a redesign of the header to align the mobile app and the website, offering a more modern, consistent, and intuitive experience.
As with any interface change, it may take a little time to get used to the new layout, but we hope this update will make navigating the game more enjoyable on a daily basis.

Blast: Summer


Summer has arrived and brought a new edition of the Blast event!
Destroy the blocks on the grids to win incredible rewards.


We will have 2 events:

The Blast event

The Memory event will start after the Blast event ends.

How to play?

Destroy blocks by clicking on a group of at least 2 blocks of the same color to fill up your chest gauge. The more blocks you destroy at once, the more points you will get.


Special Blocks
Glass blocks
Destroy adjacent block groups twice to destroy them and to get additional points.

Stone blocks
Get them to fall to the bottom of the grid to destroy them and to get additional points.

Rockets
Create them by destroying at least 8 blocks of the same color at once. Click on them to destroy all the blocks in the same column or in the same line.

Explosion
Use the Explosion to destroy all the blocks on the grid. You can win 2 free Explosions with the Loyalty bonus or buy one Explosion for 35 Passes.


Chests
Each time you destroy blocks on the grid, points are added to the chest gauge. The more blocks you destroy at once, the more points you get.

When the grid ends, you will receive a chest whose value depends on the number of blocks you destroyed on the grid.

There are 3 different chests: Wood, Gold, and Crystal.


When there are no moves left, the grid ends, and at that moment, you will receive:

A chest that will be added to one of your available slots. The rarity of the chest depends on how full the chest gauge is.

A cup that will fill your general gauge.

At the beginning, you have one slot available. You can wait to unlock the other two slots, or you can pay Passes to unlock them right away.

⚠ If all the slots are occupied, you cannot play on the grid anymore until you open one of the chests in a slot to free it up.

To open your chests, you can:

Wait until the timer ends.

Use boosters to reduce the timer in some hours.

Pay for the Master Key and reduce the timer to 0 for all the chests in the slots.

The chests in your slots will automatically be opened at the end of the event.
