One i've been proud of - though still a new project, i've been seeing progress with it. A Dressage crossbreed project i've named Frostbite

I haven't been able to put more work into it due to real life on top of a break. Hoping life settles soon so I can get back into it, but i've been loving this fun project default smiley (l)

Genetics consist of

~ 65.6% Knabbstrupper - for their best for Dressage skillset
~ 25% Lippizan - for a little Dressage OOMPH
~ 6.3% Friesian - to help balance out a few skills (unsure if it was needed though, did it just in case)
~ 3.1% Thoroughbred - to put a little more back into gallop

Together I have a crossbreed where their top 3 skills are becoming more consistent to (best to last top skill)

- Dressage
- Trot
- Gallop

Took a lot of work to figure out best horses to use for the combo, but i'm happy with the results. It takes a lot of breeding's so I do sib breeding, and only choose the best candidates out of the foals to get the affix and continue the project, all that missed the mark won't be affixed so you won't see them in there c:

Looks like a cool project default smiley :). I'm not so intentional/calculated with cross breeding. I kinda breed breeds together I can imagine seeing in real life, e.g. in Australia we see a decent amount of quarabs, brumby x quarter horses, etc. It's a shame there's no ASH default smiley :d

My understanding of the Quarab is as the name suggests.

Wikipedia:
The Quarab is a horse breed from the United States, developed from a part-Arabian cross of Arabian horses, American Quarter Horses and Paint horses.

This could well be a great combination on here default smiley (y)

Chaosandra - I decided to do a little test on Qurabs, did 2 variants, one that's just ArabxQuarter and another that's QuarterxArabxPaint and these were the results

3 breed crossbreed QuarterXArabXPaint - This one shows decent results for a Cutting cross breed looking at %s. Unsure if it could be a better cutting breed, but its skillset matches for cutting. I added a little more Quarter to the mix default smiley (l)

And the other QuarterXArab another cutting crossbreed, but Speed is slightly over Dressage

I love crossbreed projects and have been diving a bit deeper on them since starting my Dressage project default smiley (l) endless results, it's amazing what you can create c:
