Click to display Oh my gosh i read on the INT server that snowy balios was very very expensive, like you need 11 statues but the statues need 3 skies each and 7 snowflakes and that those ornaments are in the bottom row - meaning there the hardest to get- jeez louise. Not sure if that's accurate or not but I'm simply telling people about what i read.

Click to display Yep, sadly that's correct. I was on the testing server and in the end gave up on Balios, he's a rather hard one to get this promo (Actually, in any promo when he's available tbh). And it's not just that, the statues can be only gained by a tree which does yes involve 3 skies but a heap of baubles and tinsel, not to mention the wait for retrieving those trees, it adds up time pretty quickly. As far as I'm concerned, unless you have incredible luck or a lot of passes to burn, don't even bother going for Balios. But the other divines aren't so bad, no where near as extreme as Balios's cost. Originally I thought we were free of those annoying skiis, but they still come to haunt us via the statue

Is there any update to these rumors about the passes earned by sending horses to heaven?
Are we going to be asked our opinion and be able to vote on any change, ect, because I for one am strongly against the proposed change, I will lose the potential to acquire the 20 extra passes a month available if the change comes into affect  Being a non pass buyer, this will have a profound affect on me And for those who don't know: - there will be an improvement for "Greyfell" too. In 2017 you can no longer earn passes by sending horses to the heaven. There will be a little change with sending Greyfalls to heaven too. [/spoiler][/quote]

i do agree with you on that we should be able to vote and on the changes and other changes as well i have maybe over 100 or less horses that are over 20 or near 20 i have already done my ten this month just wanting for next month so i can send the next batch out if they do change it all we would get is that divine if hes coming out and he does nothing at all just mow's our lawns if this does happen i would of wished that i did this years ago but i only started this year around July or August buying two year old's or older mostly mares so i can breed them and then sell the offspring so i am 100% against it happening

yeah, i also don't want any changes happening to the pass horses. it is a way for non-pass buyers to get passes, and being a non-pass buyer, these horses give me my supply of passes

If howrse does change pass horses how are non-pass buyers supposed to get passes? Yes there's the free pass 300 point thing but that's available every 2 1/5 months~ and partner offers but they get really picky after a while (I've gotten like 15 passes through partner offers and now i cant even get into a survey) From what i recall about pass horses its 10 per month which adds up to 120 per year. Not sure if the "30 more horses sent to heaven = random BMI's thing" still exists or did exist (it was something like that).When you think about it it's really not that many passes considering how much you have to spend on promos for a divine who really isn't worth anything but a trophy or if you want to spend them on VIP, you're left with nothing to spare. Players can also sell horses for passes but you need to buy a really good horse for passes and breed to produce good enough foals to sell for a decent amount of passes and by the time that happens the foal is probably outdated anyway. Removing pass horses has got to be one of Howrse's worse choices if it happens, if they make it like 5 a month it would be more tolerable and fair but still not a good choice. Aging a pass horse naturally takes months, pass horses really should be kept as a reward of being committed to the game. It would be a fabulous idea if Howrse actually started asking us about our opinions on changes on the game, after all, we are the ones paying to keep this game running and employ them all. Although it would make passes worth more probably since they would become more rare but i think pass value will still be the same among players. Does anyone know their reason for doing this? Also please note i probably remember some incorrect information or have written down incorrect statements etc. please let me know if something i said is incorrect. |
Yes, it's taken me well over 12months, probably closer to two years now, to get my Pass Horse farm up and running and I'm finally able to pull more than the guaranteed 10 passes per 30 days, for instance, this month I received 19 passes from 31 horses, (1 of out 3 chances after the first 10 passes) and received some good BMI's from the other 12 horses. With the proposed changes, 10 passes is all that will be available to us, so all my hard work will have been for nothing, and those who couldn't be bothered putting in any effort will benefit by just playing the game, not impressed
The Divine we are supposedly able to get by sending our horses to heaven is totally useless and I can't see too many players interested in owning it. I just hope it's all a bad joke and they leave things as they are.  Or at the very least, we have a say in OUR game.

I've just started up my pass horse farm and within 2-3 weeks I've gathered over 300 horses for this purpose and it's forever increasing, although i can still use it for aging points and coat collecting the satisfaction of the horse being sent to heaven and getting a reward will disappear. Do i just send them to the safe haven and get a lousy 400e when their time is up? I don't want that to be all for nothing. It will be hundreds and thousands of equus i just wasted, and i won't be the only one in this boat.
I just read a bit more and found out the pass every 3 or 10 days thing but you could literally just log in and do nothing, have 5 horses and receive free passes? Where's the dedication? Hello? Unless they make it like the game/point system they already have it's still too easy! That's free passes. Passes aren't meant to be free and although pass horses may seem 'free' to some people most of those pass horses are naturally aged from the day they are born. Now if i'm right it takes 6 days to naturally age a horse to 1 year, 6 x 30 is 180 days. That's 6 months of daily bedding down horses plus an extra few days to bring the health down after it is 30 years old. And Howrse thinks just logging in is enough to call dedication? I would be bedding down over 300 horses a day for 6 months and that's not going to be worth anything anymore? |

What exactly do you want to know? I know that soon you can no longer get passes by sending horses to heaven. This will come in the next year but you will get a PM a month before. This "feature" has already started on three versions/servers: IT, BG, CZ Instead of getting passes by "kill" horses you will get a pass every three days IF you play active. It is a little bit like the Free pass you already get every month. And there will be a new divine horse called Yggdrasil, the world tree. When 10 horses over 25 years died and have been sent to heaven you will get him. With every next horse over 25 years "killed" you will get an aging ring. You can age Yggdrasil with this. Sometimes you get a bonus from Yggdrasil. Then the next "killed" horse will bring you 10 instead of 1 aging ring. You can do nothing with Yggdrasil than aging him. And der will be new rankings. - number of horses over 25 years sent to heaven - ? - ? Cuio vae Seraphina Anúrien endoreon |

I just wanted to know if it was fact or rumor, and if we would be consulted at all. Looks like it may be fact and our opinion on the subject doesn't matter to Howrse at all, very disappointing. Wonder how the pass buyers feel about that, they're the one's that drive this game

I think it'll definatley be a down-grade if anything. I would like to know the reasoning behind these sort of changes although I'm assuming it's mostly money driven. a shame, but at the end of the day, understandable. just another 'feature' we'll have to learn to utilize and enjoy.

As a lover of birds, those piñata make me very happy (Like, the-more-I-stare-at-them-the-more-I-love-them-happy). Did Howrse finally decide to give me a early birthday gift?
 Just happens to start on the week I'm going away *sigh* (Can I just take those pinatas and hug them instead?)New divine series ... uhh. Completely honest, I'm not impressed with Liana. She reminds me of Yggdrasil divine in its final form, well close to it anyway. And I don't like it. In all honesty, I'm probably going to get Yggdrasil to my favourite coat version and leave it at that, doubt I'm even going to bother for the ranks. (Has anyone actually posted the coats on this server yet?) Wish the whole removal of the pass horses could not happen until June or something, I *finally* have a hoard of pass horses and they're all about to become pointless
