My name is horsestar(not in real life of course! I am an adult player. I am also registered on international howrse site under the same username..I have been a member there since howrses' early days..Though these days most of my howrse time is spent here on the Aussie version.

While I never usually refuse  friend requests, I much prefer having at least spoken to you or to know you first.  Just seems more REAL to me! But please feel free to message me if you have any questions.I don't bite(usually) and will do my best to answer as soon as I can. However, please understand, I am not always online- contrary to popular belief I don't live on howrse.Like everyone else, I have Real life issue to take care of. I will do my best to answer when I am next online..If I don't reply to your message within a few days..it is usually for a good reason, and I ask that you be patient. LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON HOW BEST TO GET YOUR EC UP AND RUNNING?? take a look at dragoniys page..she has some great tips for you! (as well as being a great mod!).

100 BLUP..How do I do that???

Its a question often asked by new players....To reach 100 BLUP with your horse, there are 3 main requirements.

1. 1.   You must BOLD the top 3 genetic skills of your horses' breed. Look at the genetics tab on your horses page. You will see a set of skills, the highest 3 of these need to be Bolded to reach 100 BLUP. This is done by doing rides, completing training and entering competitions in those skill areas, until you can gain no more skill point from doing so.
2. 2. Your horse must win 20 competitions(in any area)
3. 3. Your horse must be AT LEAST 10 yrs. A horse can not reach 100 BLUP before the age of 10, regardless of whether they have fulfilled the other 2 criteria above.

8 months: 1hr 30 meadow/groom/1hr play/1hr meadow/1hr play/turnip/feed (min 3.5kg)/7hr play/stroke/carrot/drink

10 months: 1hr 30 meadow/groom/8hr play/carrot/drink/1hr play/stroke/turnip/1hr meadow/feed (what's needed)

1 Year: 1hr 30 meadow/groom/9hr play/turnip/1hr play/stroke/carrot/drink/feed (min 4.5kg)

1 Year 2 months: 30 min meadow/groom/1hr play/feed (min 4.5kg)/9hr play/turnip/1hr play/stroke/carrot/drink

1 Year 4 months: 30 min meadow/groom/1hr play/feed (min 7kg)/10hr play/turnip/carrot/2hr play/stroke/drink

These games are best done in meadows with as high as possible fertitily

Ideal is 99% + fertility.

Skillors, Skilly's, Skiller's- No matter what you call them, Skillers are  essentially the highest GP's horses for a given breed AND have very high IBS(Inborn skills)- produced using aphrodites tears. Trained properly and in an EC that gives good skill gain for lessons, these horses have the potential to win big in the competitions and do well in the Grand Prix. The Elite breeders generally carefully select their skiller foals from those born to ensure the best possible skills..
