I'm a mature (old) rider and am new to Australian Howrse.  I have ridden on and off since my teens and used to own a lovely black cob called Murphy.  Unfortunately he suffered badly with arthritis and I had to have him put down.  He gave myself, my daughter, and my grand-daughter a lot of fun.  I am about to start riding again after a long break.
