MY HORSECARE ROUTINES
I these have work well for me. Found that my horses can spend their hours optimally and still go to bed before 11. I'd suggest you try it at least once. Lmk what you think or if you have found that another routine works better. I would like to know.
(tips + tricks!!!)
- Energy intake from feed is significantly more when current energy bar % is higher.
- Energy provided from stroke is higher when current energy bar % is lower
- Increasing feed a little (2-3) from the recommended amount is okay and won't hurt.
- Prefeed oats. 6-8 oats is usually optimal for juvenile and adult horses.
- EQC with water troughs and showers really makes a difference for me
- No more than 3 comps per as it takes lot of precious time and likely will not have enough sleep
