To progress in the ephemeral task, you can equip your horses with a saddle, bridle, and all the other tack for example.

Fully equipping a horse with 1* tack will give you 25% progress for the task, so you'd need to fully equip 4 horses, or give them better tack, or swap tack (this still counts).

Giving them bonus items does count as well.

For all of them, just be aware of the fact that those horses will leave your breeding farm at the end of this ephemerals season, and whatever you give them will be going with them.
