Ancient horse Yggdrasil!
There are apparently many ways you could pronounce Yggdrasil. Summary of whole post in last sentence if you don't want to read the whole thing.
Some agree that it is "yig-drah-sil".
Meriam-Webster and Oxford English Dictionary says
\ ˈig-drə-ˌsil \
However, there is argument that dictionary pronunciations are not correct because Yggdrasil is not from English.
But someone says in Norwegian (Old Norse developed into Scandinavian languages), it is said to be pronounced
" IGG-dra-sil ".
Which is pretty much the same as the dictionary pronunciation.
But it has also been said that
"The y in Norse and Old English is pronounced like the French u." (French u is pronounced kind of like the ou in soup).
I have no idea how accurate these are though. I am no where near a language expert.
Plus some have offered other pronunciations from other Scandinavian languages.
Summary: Igg-dra-sil seems to be the most agreed upon pronunciation.
I sent a horse that was 28 and didn't get him after the update? Why?
Did you send the horse to the Safe Haven, or Heaven? They're different, your horse needs to die and be sent to heaven.
The rankings show that you've sent two horses to the Safe Haven and none to Heaven, that's why you don't have Yggy
I've started playing Howrse again after a long time, and am confused about this change and others.
Does Yddgrasil age 30 years when a 30 year old horse is sent to heaven?
This doesn't seem right, as it would take 5000 horses (aged 30 years) to reach the finial evolution. This would have been 500 000 passes, in the new pass system, if this amount of pass horses were sent to heaven.
Hope this is not the case?
How many horses do you have to send to heaven (after you have already gotten him) to achieve each prize? I'd normally do 25 itself cause waiting to 30 is and always have been too risky for me. So, how many 25 year old horses must I send to get each prize?
1st Prize: -
2nd Prize: 10 horses
3rd Prize: 40 horses
4th Prize: 100 horses
5th Prize: 200 horses
6th Prize: 360 horses
7th Prize: 600 horses
8th Prize: 960 horses
9th Prize: 1600 horses
10th Prize: 2600 horses
11th Prize: 4000 horses
12th Prize: 6000
If you did manage to age horses to 30 before you send them to heaven, it would cut the amount of horses you'd need by 1000.
