I'm struggling to think of a more useless filter for the landscapes, but I can't

Surely it's not that hard to add a few basic filters like, forest, ocean, mountains, space, castle etc..... ??

A filter for different categories would be nice, but I don't think it is that simple.

I personally want a 'retired background' option / BMI. Like we do for GA/RC.
I've found some lovely backgrounds via the directory that I wanted to use, clicked on them and found they are no longer available.

I doubt that would ever be possible. The ones that are retired are formatted for a different black pearl style, making it incompatible with the current backgrounds. I don’t remember exactly when/what the change was (it was a long time ago), but it would require manually fixing each historical landscape (unless someone figures out a way to utilise AI).

Is anyone else tired of PAYING for PERKS that they keep GIVING MOBILE USERS FOR FREE??!!

As a player who prefers the desktop version (even when I am using my mobile or tablet) and PAYS FOR VIP, I am getting very frustrated with the fact that mobile players get for FREE what I PAY FOR.
Even though with this perk update, they aren't getting the full benefits which you still have to select and give one of you 10 extras for as a VIP, they are still receiving a perk of some kind that isn't available on the standard desktop platform.

The automatic feeding and auto comps are ones that really get my goat since they are actually PERKS VIPs HAVE TO SELECT as one of their "à la carte" options. :
Its expensive to be a VIP and now non paying players are getting more and more of what we PAY FOR all because they play on the app version?!

If you are going to make these options available, they need to be available ON ALL PLATFORMS and the PERKS for both the Pegasus and VIP need to be reviewed and updated so that what we pay for will still be PERKS for PAYING PLAYERS ONLY.

Do better Howrse and DEV's, this is starting to get insulting as a paying player.

To be honest, it doesn't bother me at all. If they keep it up, I will be able to cancel my VIP subscription because the few perks I buy it for will be free

Even when I play on a mobile or tablet, I always switch it over to the classic version because I prefer it and more often then not, I'm on the computer - because I play at work haha

How can I remove this new feature to add a companion from my page. It is absolutely unnecessary and disturbs my routines.

While the new companions feature is helpful (albeit redundant as companions are trivial and excessive), it seems pretty pointless to have introduced the numbering system to the Greek god series given that, unlike the wild/chimera series, birth order does not seem to impact GP/skills.

Also pretty weird to have the Dev’s corner page recommend we provide feedback via Discord instead of, you know, the game platform.

I absolutely 100% agree with you . l've been pointing this out to the game devs for so long now, as usual, it just falls in deaf ears. They just have no common sense and no idea of fair play.

Gotta give credit where credit is due, doesn't happen enough on this game, so it has be be acknowledged Thank god all those pesky companions are out of sight when choosing bmi's to put on your horse, it was just sooo messy and tiresome sorting thru that huge list looking for important bmi's only to be hidden by the mountains of mostly useless companions.

On the other hand, I really like the set up for choosing the companions for each horse, being able to refine your search to a certain skill is perfect for skillers ect, but mainly just glad they're off the table when choosing bmi items .
I think it would have been better to have just added a small icon in the 'items' section of the 'characteristic' tab than to dedicate a new block just for companions. The idea was valid, execution typically lacks thought.

It is not Exclusive or 'restricted' to the purchaser of a VIP acc, any player can access some of the VIP perks if they play on mobile

This needs to be urgently addressed and rectified

Considering the false advertising, Howrse should be compensating subscription players upon the review of the subscriptions.

Speaking of the stupid mobile version - when opening the game on a desktop, is anyone else having the mobile version open directly instead of the desktop? I have had it every time in the last two days.

This better not be a precursor to Howrse trying to force the mobile version onto players who dont want it.
There are plenty of us that have repeatedly said we arent interest and prefer the desktop...

Yes it's getting totally out of hand now, almost every time they introduce a new 'update', the mobile version get's one more of our VIP perks added. It's extremely frustrating and l'm afraid if we say nothing, that's exactly what will happen

I haven't experienced that. I hate the mobile version and if they ever decide to change our desktop version to the mobile one, that will be the day l stop playing

Wonder what device you’re using? I have noticed that I can force the game into mobile mode by inserting “m.” in the url on my ipad, but otherwise it opens via classic by default. Opening via my phone will just revert it to the m. mode even if I try to remove the “m.” to force it to the classic mode.

Just as an experiment I also tried looking up Howrse on Google and it is interesting that the SEO has the “m.” version of the links for each of the servers, rather than linking to the classic version.

If it keeps on occurring you may need to try clearing the “m.” link from your browser’s memory.
