Tennesse Walker! And French Trotter!the movement from name is... gone

That's the graphic is for the Tennessee Walker only and considering what they look like in real life I think the howrse artists did a great job ^_^ I'm glad they went to the trouble of making a separate graphic for the breed too default smiley (y)

I can understand why howrse decided to make the trotters stand instead of actually trot in the new version. I think it would look odd (but also kinda funny) if a fully tacked horse was flying along - reins and stirrups flapping in the wind default smiley xd

Equip horses
Equip your horses and watch things evolve on its horse page!

More equipment parts
If you want one of your horses to enter a competition, it needs a saddle, a bridle as well as a saddle blanket.

You can also add polo wraps and an ear bonnet to your horse. These last two items are optional in competitions.

Equipment items are split into several levels based on the bonuses they provide.

Saddle cloth, polo wraps and ear bonnets

1*: can be purchased from the store.
2**: will be made available via competitions.

Saddles and Bridles

Old names are removed
Old MG and MK saddles are merged into 1* equipment
1* and 3***: can be purchased from the store.
2**: available via equestrian centers that employ a saddler.

Horseshoes are removed. You have received a private message with details about adjustments made to the horseshoes you might have in your inventory or on your horses.

Bonus

All these items provide bonuses for your horses when they enter competitions.
Bonuses have changed: from now on, a 1* equipment will add +1 to all your horses' skills, a 2** equipment will add +2, etc.
If you associate a 2** saddle cloth, polo wraps and ear bonnet of the same color, you receive a Color bonus.

Equip a horse
Place the equipment parts on a horse via its page. Equipment parts will appear directly on its profile picture, provided the horse has no wings or customization items such as the Golden Apple or 5th Element.

If you don't want to see your horse's equipment, visit the My Account page and disable the relevant option. Of course, bonuses remain active and the items worn by that horse can still be seen in the horse's characteristics.

Poseidon's Pack
Poseidon's Pack now comes with a bridle, a saddle, a saddle blanket, an ear bonnet and polo wraps. Items contained in the pack can no longer be obtained individually. This means the Scale bonus has been removed. The bonuses this pack provides have been reviewed in order to remain attractive.

The Atalante and Centaur Packs are removed from the game and are replaced with Poseidon's Pack.

You have received a private message with information about adjustments made to each element of Poseidon's Pack as well as the Centaur and Atalante Packs you might have in your inventory.

anatalane pack, a pack of saddle, bridle, and horse shoes, coming along with a big bonus, and the equipment is gold (i think).

no it shouldn't disappear from the game, it could be used to make the horse look better too.

this should go with all equipment packs, like poseidon pack etc.

If I understand Freeholds post I think the atalante pack (and centaur pack) will be replaced by Poseidon's packs - I assume this includes ones already given to horses too, but I could be wrong.

I don't see the whole big deal about the shetland! The old one was an insult to the ponies, looking like a fluffy toy! Now it gives more respect to the pony breed! Not all Shetlands are fluffy! Think about ones at shows who are rugged and clipped.
Try thinking beyond " I want fluffy and cute " they only look like that in winter!!

so so true

I honestly don't know why they're changing the coats. They looked fine the way they were. Especially the Thoroughbreds, Knabs and PSH's. They were so pretty before and now they're just eww. I just don't think they look as "polished" as before if you know what I mean... Like with the Arabs, they look pretty much the same except I prefer the old coat because, well... the old ones weren't all pixelated and stuff. It's the Knabs that I'm most annoyed about though!default smiley :(

i dont mean to be mean or anything but i totally disagree

You are exactly right. The old packs are being removed from the game entirely.

If you put an A pack on your horse it will simply be replaced by the P Pack..

I don't like the new Shetland. Having owned a Shetland before, they are more stockier than that picture. That is more like a miniature horse, but even then the legs are too skinny.
