Decided to try the Aussie version, as obviously its the closest to New Zealand.   (Also we visit Australia several times a year as have family living there...one son & his family are at the moment coping with the floods in queensland..he lives in Dalby & cant get out of his house but its only flooded downstairs....)
Since I started on here Christchurch NZ where I live has gone through (& still is) its own dramas with Earthquakes that have altered our whole city and life here will never be the same.   Many lives have been lost & most of our heritage buildings have been damaged & demolished.   We are still in a state of emergency but things are gradually getting back to a different kind of normal.
So far 2011 has been a year of disasters all over the world & Japan suffered a huge earthquake but then was struck by a devastating tsunami & now a big nuclear problem so our hearts go out to them as well.   Lets hope the rest of the year improves & No one else has to go through these dramas & tragedies.   Thank goodnes for Howrse as it has been something nice to think about...
